"Napili po ng mommy kong MKF kasi po napansin po ni mommy na marunong po ako kumanta. Kaya naisip po ni mommy na maghanap ng music school para ma-guide po ako ng tama pagdating sa techniques ng singing."
This decision led them to MKF Dynamic Star Music Studio in Quezon City. It was here that Andrea's raw talent was given structure, training, and the chance to grow.
Growing with MKF
From her first few sessions, Andrea and her family noticed remarkable changes in her singing.
"Hindi naman po kami nabigo ni mommy dahil napansin po namin sa ilang sessions ko pa lang ay marami na akong natutunan."
Andrea explained how the coaches at MKF were not only skilled but also patient mentors who gave close attention to each student.
"Mabait po, magaling po magturo, at tsaka tututukan ka po nila."
This careful guidance helped Andrea gain confidence and overcome many of her early challenges in singing.
Mastering the Basics
Before joining MKF, Andrea often struggled with breathing control and with reaching certain high and low notes. Through training, she learned how to manage her breathing, strengthen her range, and sing with more consistency.
"Napansin ko po na mas nag-improve po ako sa pagkanta. Yung mga bagay po na nahihirapan ako before, ngayon mas madali ko na siyang nagagawa dahil sa mga natutunan ko pong techniques."
She also gained discipline in practice, stage confidence during performances, and proper vocal techniques that helped her voice grow stronger.
Andrea on Idol Kids Philippines
All of Andrea's preparation eventually led her to the bigger stage of Idol Kids Philippines. The show is known for discovering the brightest young voices in the country. With judges such as Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, Angeline Quinto, Juan Karlos, and Gary Valenciano, it is one of the most respected platforms for young talents.
For Andrea, performing on this stage was not just about impressing the judges. It was about sharing her gift, inspiring others, and showing what she had learned through hard work and dedication.
A Grateful Heart
Despite her achievements, Andrea remains humble and thankful. She never forgets to acknowledge those who supported her journey—her family, her coaches, and most of all, God.
"Inaalay ko po ang performance ko… unang una po kay Lord kasi po siya ang nagbigay ng talento ko. Pangalawa po sa pamilya ko po, especially sa magulang ko po. And lastly sa mga taong naniniwala sa talent ko."
Her gratitude makes her journey even more inspiring. She knows that while talent is her gift, it shines brighter because of the love and support she receives.
